A
Good Night at Little Texas
I
can always tell it's been a good show when it seems to
go by quickly. Our ninety minute set at Little Texas was
over in a flash to me. We set an attendance record at
the club in Cumming, Georgia. I knew we would have a good
crowd when I pulled up and cars had overflowed the ample
parking lot into the road out in front.
Production
can often be a dicey issue if a band travels without its
own PA system. It certainly ended up effecting the opening
acts. Unfortunately, their sets were shortened due to
the late arrival of the PA company. Fortunately for us,
our crew always manages to make us sound as good as we
possibly can. Judging by the crowd's response on Valentine's
night, we sounded pretty darn good.
I know it's impossible to judge a band's popularity on
its home town support. Cumming is, after all, only forty
miles north of downtown Atlanta. However,
it is very heartwarming for all of us in Atlanta Rhythm
Section, that during such a trying time in our country
so many people would come out, support the band and share
their evening with us.
Hope to see you soon,
Justin
